What you need to know about the Baylor football team and why it’s so tough to win in a playoff
- by admin
Baylor has had its share of struggles in the Big 12, but the Bears have done a great job of playing it smart and playing their best games against one another.
They’re going to have to keep winning at home to avoid a second straight season without a conference championship, but they’ve already done that, going 5-0 against the conference champion Oklahoma Sooners.
With a chance to go up against No. 4 Texas Tech in the second round of the Big Dance, the Bears should be a tough out.
If they can get the better of Oklahoma, the Big 11 might have to do a little something to get over the hump, but it seems unlikely the Bears will be a team to lose.
Keep an eye on the Big East for the Bears in the coming weeks.

Boise is a good team at both positions, but one of their biggest issues is that it’s not built for a deep pass rush, which is something the Broncos need to improve on in order to be more than a mid-majors team.
