NFL commissioner: ‘I don’t think it’s a good idea’ to have a team in California

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Thursday that he doesn’t think the league should move its 2016 game in Los Angeles.

In an interview with Recode, Goodell was asked if it would make sense for the league to move its game to the Bay Area, and Goodell said “no.”

“I don-I don.

I don’t see why it would,” he said.

“There are other cities in the country where they have a chance to play in the NFL and play in this city.

And so that would be an ideal situation for us.

And I don- I don, I don’t think it would be a good situation for our fans and our game.”

He added that he does not want to “bother” the city of Los Angeles or any other team in the area.

“There are a lot of places in the world where we have a real competitive advantage,” Goodell said.

“The fact that they can be playing in the big cities, that they don’t have to play on a game day, that doesn’t mean we’re not competitive.

I know that.

But I don t think it makes sense for us to play our game in a city that we know, you know, we have an advantage over.”

In the same interview, Goodell said he had not spoken with President Donald Trump about moving the game to Los Angeles, but did say that he had spoken to him about the possibility of moving it.

“I think he has expressed interest in moving the NFL, and I believe that he will move it,” Goodell added.

“So I don o-o-o do, but I don ma-say anything.”

The NFL has had three games played in Los Angelas since the 2015 season, including a rematch between the Rams and Raiders last season.

The game was originally scheduled for January 4, but was moved to December 31 because of the Winter Olympics.
