WASHINGTON — The Nittas have a chance to finish off the season on a high note.

After a rough season, the Nitta’s got the perfect chance to go back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2006-07 season.

The Nittanas are riding a seven-game winning streak after winning the last three games.

The first two came against Georgia Tech and North Carolina State.

The last two were against South Carolina and Miami.

NC State also defeated Maryland in the last two games.

The Panthers are currently third in the nation in scoring offense with 39.6 points per game and third in scoring defense with 31.3.

The Panthers have held three ACC opponents to fewer than 60 points.
