Michigan football schedule: The game in February

Michigan will host Alabama in the Big Ten Championship Game, which kicks off on Feb. 6 at 1 p.m.

ET on ESPN.

The Wolverines will play their first bowl game since 2007, a 59-14 loss to Oklahoma.

Michigan will also host Iowa on Feb 5, a rematch of last year’s Cotton Bowl loss, a 35-35 tie.

The Big Ten East, which includes Rutgers, Maryland and Delaware, will be played in Detroit on Feb 10.

Michigan State, meanwhile, will play the ACC in its season opener on Feb 11.

Michigan is currently 13-3 overall and 5-2 in the MAC, including a 7-0 mark this season, but will have to travel to Orlando, Fla., for its first ACC game since 2014.

Michigan plays three ACC games this season: home vs. Notre Dame, away vs. Virginia Tech, and away vs the Clemson Tigers.

The Tigers have a 3-0 record in those games.

Michigan’s season opener is on Feb 14 at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan will also travel to Pittsburgh on Feb 16, which the Wolverines defeated 37-24 on Jan. 31.

Michigan has won two of three ACC titles in the last three seasons, including in 2017.

Michigan defeated the Panthers in the championship game in 2017 and then lost to Clemson in the national title game.

The Wolverines are currently 13th nationally in total offense (305.5 yards per game), but are currently 14th in scoring defense (31.5 points per game).

Michigan has not lost a bowl game this season.

The last time the Wolverine offense finished with 300 or more yards in a bowl was 2009.
